Your Favorite Quote.
This thread could be a remake/repost but to be honest, who cares?
So,post here your favourite quotes from songs to famous persons.
3 quotes max / person please. We don't want complete song lyrics here.
My top 3:
1:Genesis:This is the world we live in,(woho)
And these are the hands we're given(woho!)
Use them and lets start trying,
To make this a place worth fighting for.
2:Einstein:Quotes get more of a meaning when you put a famous person's name below it
3:William Wallace:Your heart is free if you have the courage to follow it.

^I love that Patton Quote
but this is the real quote,
"No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country"
mine is from the movie, "The Usual Suspects"
"The Greatest Trick the Devil ever pulled, was convincing the world that he didn't exist."
and a few others:
"I'm not as think as you drunk I am"
"Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional."

When you die and God will ask you, "What did you do in your Life?"
This somewhat shows that you need to be good in your current life cause God will ask soon "what did you do bad or good"^^.
It helps some people fear God better^^.
Or something that I made^^.

love the patten quote and the drunk/ugly joke. classics!
"Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know."

Frodo: I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.
Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.
Gandalf: A wizard is never late, Frodo Baggins. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.

"No matter which path you follow, it is written in you're destiny"
-This means that everything you do might be faith,
Example like right now maybe this is written in you're fate.
"Life is not a Paradise so don't waste it"
-This means stop being lazy and continue you're life = P.
"When Two Worlds Collide"
-I don't even understand this saying^^.
But it sounds good^^.
"Life is a Pain, Death is a Blessing"
-Hhhhmmmm, I think this means Life could do harm to you, But in death theres a chance you would go to a Paradise.
Or maybe this means Life could deal Pain but Death could do Retribution.
"Whether, you Walk or Run you still Travel"
-This means you run you walk you would still reach you're destination.
So why waste you're energy running.
"Cherry Blossoms fall, Like Snow"
-This means whether it may be light or heavy things fall same time lands same time.
Summary, Light (CB), Heavy (Snow) falls same time lands same time.

This is the actual radio conversation (released by the chief of naval operations) of a US naval ship with Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October 1995. Not technically a quote, but I still crack up whenever I read it
CANADIANS: "Please divert your course 15 degrees to the south to avoid a collision"
AMERICANS: "Recommend YOU divert your course 15 degrees to the north to avoid a collision"
CANADIANS: "Negative. You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to the south to avoid a collision"
AMERICANS: "This is the captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course"
CANADIANS: "No, I say again, you divert your course"
AMERICANS: "This is the Aircraft Carrier USS LINCOLN, the second largest ship in the United States Atlantic Fleet. We are accompanied with three Destroyers, three Cruisers and numerous support vessels. I DEMAND that you change your course 15 degrees north. I say again, that's one-five degrees north, or counter-measures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of this ship"
CANADIANS: "This is a LIGHTHOUSE. Your call"
